Current Projects

A: Robustness in AI Systems

B: Software Engineering for Machine Learning

We examine the challenges, tools, theories, and techniques involved in writing reliable and efficient imperative Deep Learning (DL) programs. [More Info]

C: Advanced Machine Learning for Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes

We design and apply advanced machine learning and stochastic modeling to complex clinical data to improve the prediction and prevention of adverse pregnancy outcomes, particularly preterm birth and preclampsia, across different stages of pregnancy.

D:   Algorithms for Decoding the Biological Molecular Arms Race

This project uses computational methods to study how complex biological traits evolve and function by analyzing the remarkable diversity of animal venom and its highly selective interactions with ion channels.

E: Multiagent Decision Support Systems for Urban Infrastructure:

The goal of this research is to develop an analytical decision-support framework that provides quantitative insights for timely and effective deployment of alerts and resources in urban settings.
