+ Apr 2024 Raja is TEDxCUNY 2024 speaker

Prof. Raja gave a talk on “Demystifying AI: From Medicine to Infrastructure” at the TEDxCUNY 2024 event which was titled “UNRAVEL” held in John Jay College on April 12, 2024. A big shout out to CUNY’s Macaulay Scholar students who organized this impressive event, working closely with the speakers for over 6 months!

+ Feb 2024 Raja is invited speaker at AAAI 2024 Undergraduate Consortium

Raja gave the closing keynote the AAAI 2024 undergraduate consortium and served as a panelist at the Women’s mentoring lunch.

+ Oct 2023 DAIR undergrad Alisa Leshchenko presents at AAAI Fall 2023 Symposium.

Alisa presented our work on bridging cognitive reasoning and generative algorithms titled “Leveraging Conflict to Bridge Cognitive Reasoning and Generative Algorithmsā€¯ coauthored with Jihie Kim at the 2023 AAAI Fall Symposium on Integrating Cognitive Architectures and Generative Models in Arlington, VA.

Prof. Raja gave the talk titled “Towards Responsible AI: Mitigating Uncertainty in Mission-Critical Systems” at the AAAI 23 Third International Workshop on Modelling Uncertainty in the Financial World (MUFin’23).

+Jan 2023 Raja Co-PI on CUNY 2023 Planning Grant studying “Rules of Life”

Prof. Raja will be collaborating with Biology faculty from Hunter College and Queens College on studying Predicting Transformation of Living Systems in Evolving Environments.
